The Directorate of Food Security Policy and Stakeholders Coordination is among the three Directorate for Food Security Sector. The strategic objective of the directorate is to always have a workable and sustainable food security policy and sufficiency for all.
Since its establishment the directorate has developed a Country Food Policy draft, which was developed through support from the European Union. Currently the directorate is developing relevant acts and orders that are key to the sustainable functions of the directorate.
For better coordination, the directorate will be conducting stakeholder mapping at national, state and county levels involved in food security systems in South Sudan.
